Alrighty! Spin class was this morning at 7am, and I killed it! :D. Now I’m drinking a yummy protein shake (cocoa powder, milk, vanilla protein, a banana, and a spoonful of PB!) and starting to study. I have a midterm on Thursday and a final on Friday so I really need to take the next few days to study hard!
So I’m gonna self control my computer (yes, that means no tumblr). I’ll see you guys when I’m done (that’s a lie, I’ll probably go on my phone, but I’ll make an update on Friday night!)

Guys…it’s so hard to stay healthy right now. I know I usually seem like I have it all figured out but I’m really in a rut. Working as a bartender totally has my meal schedule messed up, and I tend to only eat twice a day. Oh, and when I’m working, I often forget to drink water. On top of all this, I’m living with my parents for the summer, and it is SO hard to eat healthy when I’m not living alone. Props to all of you who can do it!
As for the gym, I’ve been able to get to about 3 spin classes a week but I’ve been TERRIBLE at keeping up with HIIT and lifting. Same with yoga, I haven’t done yoga in months. I’m just really busy with summer school and work and my social life and I normally can keep it together but now I am just having a bit of a hard time :(.
I’m going to figure out how to organize myself, and then I will come back here with a few goals. For now, I have to study for my finals that are this week. Talk to y’all later..
So I just are a 350 cal red velvet cupcake. Why? Cause I wanted to. And it was amazing. And I have no regrets.

Okay, I’ve been so MIA it’s unbelievable! Apologies :(. I’ve been working a ton, and when I’m not working I’m doing schoolwork or hanging out with my man. Life is so busy I never really have down time. But I now have 2 days off which will be so nice :)
Health wise - I’ve only really been able to fit in 4 workouts a week, so I’m not too happy with that. I’m trying to find a way to balance working out with my busy days, and it’s giving me a bit of a hard time. But I’ve been able to stick with a healthy diet which is good.

Today was a cheat day and a rest day so I’m feeling kinda nasty. I ate well all morning but I had an indian food buffet for dinner and had a lot of carbs. But that’s okay, I needed a cheat day! Tomorrow I’m gonna eat well and I’m gonna do an intense workout. I really need to get in some good cardio if I want to lower my BF%.
I’ll end with a question. Cause I’m getting bored of my routine - what’s your favourite type of cardio?
How do I get my feet to stop hurting so much :(. It kicks in around 2 hours into the shift and by the end I just hobble everywhere :(
This morning I had some steel cut oats with some vanilla greek yogurt and blueberries mixed in. So yum.
Meal 2 was a GF wrap with avocado and quinoa. Then I was off to spin class and I worked up a huge sweat! Then I did my “santorini bikini” toning (from tone it up), and then devoured some flax snax and hummus.
Fed ally is a happy ally.
Now just working on some of my summer classes, then I have a flair bartending class, then I work at 8:30. Hope everyone is having a lovely day! :) xx

Not photographing it because it’s not that pretty, but I’m having a crepe filled with hummus, quinoa, and red pepper! It’s so yummy. My mom made the crepes a few days ago, and I’m sure they’re not 100% clean but I really wanted to try one and I figured this was the healthiest way to do it! No regrets, it’s super tasty! :)
- I’ve decided to give up casual drinking. I’ve been going out for dinner a lot lately, and although I always order healthy meals, I tend to ruin it by ordering a drink. So I’m going to stop doing that, and I’m going to try to not have any drinks at home either. I’ll just drink when I’m going out to a club or a bar or such, and even then I’m gonna try to stick to low-cal drinks instead of beer

- I had a big omelette for breakfast and put cheese in it so I’m kinda mad at myself but I’m planning on a big workout later today so I think it should be fine! I know this normally isn’t a big deal but I’m really trying to be strict with myself about diet right now and it’s pretty tough!

Ok so I’m all good with eating clean and working out. It’s super easy now and I’m dedicated and motivated and whatever. My real problem now is alcohol. It’s so hard not to have a cocktail or a beer when I go out with friends, and I know that it’s killing all of my progress. Has anyone dealt with this? If so, help!!! I know it’s just a self-control issue but it’s hard not to drink when you’re out with friends yenno?
Today started with me catching up on Calculus, then I had my first day at my new job. I really think I’m going to like working there! I’m the only female bartender on staff so that’s pretty exciting :)
It was a super busy day, and unfortunately I didn’t get a workout in. But I’m heading to the gym tomorrow morning, and I think I’m gonna do some inclined intervals!
